11月13日至11月20日，国际文化交流协会（ICEA）在留学生管理办公室的指导下，在南湖留学生公寓成功举办了国际学生学术系列沙龙活动。本次沙龙为国际学生打造一个开放且多元的学习舞台，充分发挥了学生的互帮互助精神，让知识在交流中得以深化，让视野在交流中得以拓宽。

From November 13th to November 20th, International Cultural Exchange Association (ICEA), under the guidance of International Students Management Office, successfully held a series of academic salon activities for international students in South Lake International Students' Apartment. The salon creates an open and diversified learning stage for international students, giving full play to the spirit of mutual help and assistance, deepening knowledge and broadening horizons in the exchange.

在这五天的活动中，每一场分享都吸引了众多国际学生的积极参与。座无虚席的场景见证了学生们对学术交流的热忱和追求。每一位汇报人都以独特的视角和精辟的见解，为同学们带来了前所未有的学术体验。

During the five days of the event, each sharing attracted the active participation of many international students. The packed house witnessed the students' enthusiasm and pursuit of academic exchange. With unique perspectives and incisive insights, each presenter brought an unprecedented academic experience to the students.

在11月13日的第一场学术沙龙中，管理科学与工程专业的博士研究生SAWANEH IBRAHIM ABDULAI以“社会科学和艺术研究”为主题，他的精彩报告对社会科学和艺术专业的学生具有深远的教育意义。他的回答精准专业，为每个人对相关领域更深入理解提供了巨大的帮助。

In the first salon on November 13th, SAWANEH IBRAHIM ABDULAI, a PhD student in Management Science and Engineering, presented on the topic of "Social Science and Arts Research", and his excellent presentation was of far-reaching educational significance to the students of Social Science and Arts. His answers were precise and professional and helped everyone to gain a deeper understanding of the relevant fields.

11月14日，材料科学与工程学院博士研究生MUJAHEED YUNUSA的“科学和工程研究”分享是一场有关科学与工程的报告。他的报告涵盖了科学研究、科学文献综述以及论文答辩技巧等多个方面，内容丰富且深入，为同学们在科学和工程领域的研究提供了宝贵的经验和启示。

On November 14th, MUJAHEED YUNUSA, a PhD student from the School of Materials Science and Engineering, gave a presentation on "Science and Engineering Research". His presentation covered various aspects of scientific research, scientific literature review, and dissertation defense techniques, which was very informative and in-depth, and provided valuable experience and insights for students in the field of science and engineering research.

材料科学与工程专业的博士研究生SAMUEL LEUMAS OTOO在11月15日的分享中，向大家介绍了两款高效文献管理软件ZOTERO和ORIGIN的使用方法和技巧，并在现场对带了电脑的同学进行了有效指导。他还分享了如何查阅和高效阅读期刊论文的个人经验，让同学们在文献检索和管理方面有了新的认识和提升。

SAMUEL LEUMAS OTOO, a PhD. student in Materials Science and Engineering, shared his experience on November 15th, introducing the use and techniques of two efficient literature management software, ZOTERO and ORIGIN, and providing effective guidance to students who brought computers with them on the spot. He also shared his personal experience on how to access and efficiently read journal papers, which gave the students a new and improved understanding of literature search and management.

经济学院20级的ASMA ISMAIL FARAH在11月16日的分享中，着重介绍了如何提高学生在学术论文写作过程中对Word文档和PowerPoint演示文稿的使用和制作能力。她还讨论了如何利用Word和PPT制作出丰富的动画效果，使个人作品更生动地展示出来。她的分享让同学们在论文写作和演示方面得到了实用的指导和启发。

ASMA ISMAIL FARAH, Faculty of Economics, in her sharing on November 16th, focused on how to improve students' ability to use and create Word documents and PowerPoint presentations in the process of writing academic papers. She also discussed how to utilize Word and PPT to create rich animation effects to make personal work more vividly presented. Her sharing gave the students practical guidance and inspiration on thesis writing and presentation.

最后一天，自动化学院20级的MUGABI ESAU主持了关于“如何在学术论文写作中使用人工智能”的讨论。会议讨论了人工智能在学术论文写作中的重要性、定义、自动引文管理、研究协助、内容生成、抄袭检测以及在学术界的影响等方面。这场讨论为同学们在人工智能与学术论文写作的结合方面提供了新的思路和方向。

On the last day, MUGABI ESAU, School of Automation led a discussion on "How to Use Artificial Intelligence in Academic Paper Writing". The session discussed the importance, definition, automated citation management, research assistance, content generation, plagiarism detection and impact of AI in academic paper writing. This discussion provided students with new ideas and directions in integrating artificial intelligence with academic paper writing.

活动期间，学生们聚精会神地聆听每一位汇报人的分享，积极参与讨论，表现出对学术研究的极大热情。每一场活动都让学生们收获颇丰，不仅拓宽了他们的学术视野，还提高了他们的学术技能。许多学生表示，这次沙龙活动让他们受益匪浅，建议学校今后可以多组织这种重要且实用的学术沙龙或论坛活动。

During the events, students listened attentively to the sharing of each presenter and actively participated in the discussions, showing great enthusiasm for academic research. Each activity was very rewarding for the students, not only broadening their academic horizons, but also improving their academic skills. Many students said that this salon activity benefited them a lot and suggested that the university could organize more such important and practical academic salons or forums in the future.

这次学术沙龙不仅为学生们提供了一个互帮互助的学习环境，还激发了他们的学习热情和创新精神。每一名参与者都从他人的经验中汲取营养，不断拓宽自己的全球视野，深化知识交流。

This academic salon not only provided a learning environment for students to help each other, but also stimulated their enthusiasm for learning and innovative spirit. Each participant drew nourishment from the experience of others, continuously broadened his or her global vision and deepened knowledge exchange.
